Welcome to the Benefice News

Dear Friends,

Welcome to April's edition of the Churn Valley News.

April is a beautiful reminder of God’s renewing work in the world. As spring begins to flourish, flowers bloom, trees regain their leaves, and the earth seems to awaken after the quiet of winter. Many Christians see this season as a reflection of God’s creativity and faithfulness. The changing of the seasons points to the truth that life continues according to God’s design, and the fresh growth of April can remind believers of spiritual renewal; how God restores hearts and brings hope even after difficult seasons.

For Christians, April is especially meaningful because it often includes the celebration of Easter, the day that commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus was crucified, died, and rose again on the third day, demonstrating God’s power over sin and death. This event stands at the heart of Christian faith. During April, many of us reflect on Christ’s sacrifice and celebrate the hope that His resurrection brings. Just as the natural world comes alive in spring, Christians see Easter as a symbol of new life through Christ. A promise that faith, forgiveness, and eternal life are available to all who believe!

We hope you will find the information you need here about the Churn Valley Benefice and will be able to catch up with new, events, and past future events.

We hope you enjoy and always welcome feedback!

A thought for April
