
On 18 April Tony Hymas gave a piano recital at Rendcomb College in aid of Bagendon Church. Over one hundred people enjoyed an energetic and highly entertaining performance. Works included:
- Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky (1839 - 1881),
- Third Consolation in D Flat by Franz Lizst (1811 - 1886),
- Four Blues from Robert Johnson (1911 - 1938), transcribed by Tony Hymas

Tony is a professional musician with an extensive experience in a wide range of genres, including classical, jazz and rock. He has also accompanied many famous musicians of recent times.
The evening was enhanced with refreshments and drinks provided by local people.
Thanks are due to Rendcomb College for the use of their premises, to the recital organisers and the providers of the food and drink, and especially to Tony for his preparation and performance. A most successful evening was had, with in excess of £2000 raised for Bagendon church.
