Clothing donations sought for Gloucester Asylum Seekers

Gloucester Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers’ clothing appeal is ongoing, and Stratton Church Warden, Beth Hamid, is kindly gathering donations of men’s clothing on behalf of the Churn Valley Benefice. Particular items sought are long sleeved shirts and t-shirts, trousers, jumpers, warm coats and shoes. Socks and underwear need to be new (no suits or party wear thank you). It is hoped to make up a pack of some tops, trousers, a coat and shoes for each individual. If you have any clothes to donate, Beth can collect items from you, or you can drop them to: 37 Cheltenham Road, Stratton. Any queries, please contact Beth on T: 01285 644895; M: 07590 510891 or email: bethhamid@googlemail.com

Thank you.
